On September 15-16, 2007 the 60th annual Pointe Mouillee Waterfowl Festival was held at Pointe Mouillee State Game Area in Brownstown, Michigan.  Included in the festival was the Michigan Duck Hunters' Tournament, Midwest Duck & Fish Decoy Contest, the Wildlife Art & Craft Show, the Midwest Duck & Goose Calling Contest, and the Huron River Distance Jump Dogs Event. 

Over 8,000 people attended the two-day event.  The Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge was a major contributor.  The refuge display and outreach materials were prominently featured at a booth.  The booth was staffed by Service employees and refuge volunteers.
