Green Bay Field Office Provides Information on Careers with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service
Midwest Region, April 18, 2007
Print Friendly Version

Joel Trick, Green Bay Ecological Services Field Office, gave a presentation on careers in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to a group of biology students at Seymour High School. in Seymour, Wisconsin.

The presentation was one of a series of talks that the students heard to assist them in choosing careers.  The students were provided with an overview of the Service, the agency's work, and a description of the types of opportunities available in the many divisions within the Service, and in other natural resource agencies and organizations.

Given the age composition of Service employees, recruiting new employees to replace recent and future retirements will be crucial to retaining continuity of the services we provide.  The presentation offered an excellent opportunity to interact with students, answer questions and encourage them to pursue a career in a natural resource field
