Crab Orchard National Wildlife Refuge hosted a red fox at the monthly Families Understanding Nature program, February 10, at the Visitor Center. 

A live red fox from Free Again Wildlife Rehabilitation was on display for the 117 participants. 

Refuge Park Ranger Karin Magera presented facts about the National Wildlife Refuge System, as well as recreation opportunities and upcoming events on Crab Orchard NWR. 

Bev Shofstall from Free Again presented information about foxes and what to do if you find injured wildlife. 

After the presentations, crafts and learning activities were available for the participants.
