Partners forFishand Wildlife Program Displays Information at Quivira Coalition, January 2007

The New Mexico Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program staff provided a booth display and handouts at Quivira Coalition's 6th Annual Conference, January 18-20, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The theme was "Fresh Eyes on the Land: Innovation and the Next Generation," with presenters providing innovative conservation ideas and practices that give hope to and receive inspiration from the next generation.  Presenters included famous authors and visionaries Wendell Berry and Gary Paul Nabhan.  Approximately 650 people attended.

The Quivira Coalition is an organization devoted to developing and sustaining dialogue between ranchers and environmental groups. Their mission is "to foster ecological, economic and social health on western landscapes through education, innovation, collaboration, and progressive public and private land stewardship."
