On September 15, Wildlife Refuge Specialist Corey Kudrna gave a tour to 13 students and  Dr. John Rushin from the Plant Physiology Class at Missouri Western State University. 

The students visited refuge prairies and wetlands looking at the plant diversity and learning about management of wetland plants.  Students had the opportunity to photograph and collect some of the common upland and wetland plants.  The class utilized the newly constructed outdoor classroom.
