Three New Partners Join the Wisconsin Karner Blue Butterfly HCP Bringing the Partnership Total to 41

The Service’s Green Bay Ecological Services Field Office issued Certificates of Inclusion to three new partners to the Wisconsin Karner Blue Butterfly Statewide Habitat Conservation Plan, during FY 2006. 

The partners are Plum Creek Timber Company, Oakdale Electric Cooperative, and Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative. 

The Wisconsin Karner Blue Butterfly Habitat Conservation Plan is in its seventh year and membership has grown from 26 partners (in 1999) to 41 partners (2006).  The partnership includes timber companies, county forests, utility companies, highway departments, The Nature Conservancy, and the Wisconsin Departments of Transportation and Agriculture
