4-H volunteers trim vegetation on Dune Trail

Several 4-H clubs in Cape May County recently volunteered at the Two Mile Beach Unit of Cape May National Wildlife Refuge. The groups conducted a beach trash clean-up and cleared vegetation from a walking trail (much of which was poison ivy!). Forty-four members picked up trash from a 1.5-mile-long section of beach and trails on the refuge, and widened a 1,000-foot-long path through the maritime forest.
