Journal Entry   Back Moosehorn NWR Biologists Presents to Maine Chapter of the Society of American Foresters Northeast Region, June 9, 2005 Print Friendly Version Andy Weik, wildlife biologist, gave a powerpoint presentation on managing early successional forest wildlife habitat to 65 foresters from the private and public sectors at a workshop sponsored by the Maine Chapter of the Society of American Forests and National Turkey Federation. There was a field trip to Frye Mountain Wildlife Management Area in Montville and copies of the Service's "A landowner's Guide to Woodcock Management in the Northeast" was distributed.
