On-Site Tours

Expert Tours and Talks (Weekends): How can an orchid grow on a rock? When is a rose's fragrance most intense? Learn this and more as you get an insider's view of specific plants, gardens, and exhibitions from Garden staff and visiting experts.

Docent-led Tours (Daily): Join our expert volunteers for an in-depth look at favorite collections like the Perennial Garden, Conservatory, and Forest as well as other highlights and themes. (*Tours with American Sign Language interpreters are offered on the third Saturday of every month.)

Bird Walks (Saturdays; seasonal): Bring your binoculars and tour the grounds with a National Audubon Society member to encounter and learn about the birds that call the Garden home.

Upcoming tours

Narrated Tram Tours (Daily): The Tram is not just a great way to get around the Garden's 250 acres—It's also a narrated tour that offers an overview of the Garden, its history, and its programs. Hop off and explore at any of the four stops.
