Hoosier Riverwatch
Hoosier Riverwatch has awarded grants to volunteer groups since 1996. These grant recipients form the foundation of the Hoosier Riverwatch volunteer stream monitoring network. Lake and River Enhancement
The Lake and River Enhancement Program (LARE) was developed to ensure the continued viability of public-access lakes and streams. The program's goal is to utilize a watershed approach to reduce non-point source sediment and nutrient pollution of Indiana's and adjacent states' surface waters to a level that meets or surpasses state water quality standards. Lake Michigan Coastal Program (LMCP)
The LMCP will make more than $1 million (based on the proposed 2002 Congressional budget) available annually to communities in northwest Indiana.
