Reporters are invited to be on-scene as U.S. Geological Survey scientists install a real-time webcam to monitor Santiago Creek for flooding and debris-flows expected as a result of recent wildfires.
To access the webcam, go to the USGS California Water Science Center home page and click on 'View Webcams' in the upper left of the page.

Where: | USGS gaging station near the intersection of Santiago Canyon Road and Modjeska Canyon Road, at the bridge where Santiago Canyon Road crosses Santiago Creek (see maps). Take Santiago Canyon Road off of Highway 241. Follow Santiago Canyon Road south to the intersection of Modjeska Canyon Road. The gage site is about 200 yards further south, near where Santiago Canyon Road crosses Santiago Creek. |
