Office of the Administrator (OA)
The Office of the Administrator works closely with the rest of FSIS to help spread awareness of FSIS goals regarding food safety awareness and education.

Office of Food Defense & Emergency Response (OFDER)
Office of Food Defense and Emergency Response prepares, prevents and coordinates a response to intentional or suspected deliberate acts and major events threatening the U.S. food supply.

Office of Field Operations (OFO)
The Office Of Field Operations manages a nationwide program of inspection and enforcement activities regarding meat, poultry and egg products.

Office of International Affairs (OIA)
The Office of International Affairs provides leadership in international food safety activities.

Office of Management (OM)
The Office of Management provides a full range of administrative and support services to FSIS.

Office of Outreach, Employee Education and Training (OOEET)
New program was announced March 7, 2008. Office will provide consolidated access, resources and technical support for small and very small plants to better assist them in providing safe and wholesome meat, poultry and processed egg products.

Office of Public Affairs and Consumer Education (OPACE)
(Formerly Office of Public Affairs, Education and Outreach, or OPAEO). This office is responsible for conducting public programs to inform, educate and work with a variety of different audiences.

Office of Program Evaluation, Enforcement & Review (OPEER)
Office of Program Evaluation, Enforcement and Review is responsible for assessing program functions and operations under FSIS.

Office of Policy and Program Development (OPPD)
This office develops and makes recommendations concerning all domestic and international policy for FSIS. (Formerly the Office of Policy, Program & Employee Development or OPPED)

Office of Public Health Science (OPHS)
The Office of Public Health and Science provides scientific analysis, advice, data, and recommendations regarding matters involving public health and science that are of concern to FSIS.
