bullet Health Literacy: New Field, New Opportunities - Online tutorial from World Education designed to teach health educators about the challenges associated with low health literacy. The participant will also learn about successful strategies and practices.
bullet A Health Professional's Guide to Pediatric Oral Health Management - Series of seven online modules from the National Maternal and Child Oral Health Resource Center. Topics presented include how to perform oral screenings, provide referrals, and educate parents on the prevention of oral health diseases.
bullet Helping Teen Parents Feed Their Young Children - A computer-based learning module for nutrition educators that work with teen parents from the Oregon State University Extension Service, Family and Community Development.
bullet Lactation Education - This education project was a joint effort between the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the University of Missouri-Columbia Sinclair School of Nursing to update providers on best practices related to breastfeeding.
bullet LET: Leadership, Education and Training Program in Maternal and Child Nutrition Online Modules - The LET Program at the University of Minnesota has contracted with leaders in the field of public health, maternal and child health and maternal and pediatric nutrition to develop web based curricula on maternal and child nutrition related topics. Topics include Public Health Nutrition, Childhood Obesity, Health Disparities and Connecting with Pregnant Adolescents.
bullet Make Your Calories Count - An interactive learning program created by US Food and Drug Administration, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. This program provides consumers with information to help plan a healthful diet while managing calorie intake. The exercises will help consumers use the food label to make decisions about which food choice is right for them.
bullet Maternal and Child Health Leadership Skills Development - The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health created a set of four modules that connect leadership concepts to a maternal/child health context. The series is designed for use in small groups.

This series of five self-contained online modules is designed to provide oral health professionals with information to help ensure that young children with special health care needs have access to health promotion and disease prevention services.
