Building the Future of School Nutrition
Michael Foley
Join us in the Crescent City this January for SNA's 2009 Child Nutrition Industry Conference (CNIC)! Strengthen your business connections, further your professional knowledge and help SNA build the future of School Nutrition in one of our nation's most captivating cities.
Featuring an innovative educational program jam-packed with networking opportunities and skill-building activities, CNIC participants will work together to examine the critical issues impacting school nutrition and develop "out-of-the-box" strategies for circumventing the many challenges that can impede success.
Participants will learn from a host of experts who will explore such hot topics as "going green", the impact of rising food costs, and much more. Back by popular demand for the sixth straight year, the What's New For You (WNFY) small group sessions will introduce school nutrition professionals to a wide range of innovative products and services, while giving industry representatives valuable "face" time with operators.
Marcia Wallace
Other highlights of CNIC 2009 will include opening keynote speaker Michael Foley, a leading authority on open, honest, and authentic communication and expert on the art of persuasion, and closing keynote speaker Marcia Wallace, breast cancer survivor and actress best known for her Emmy award winning role as Bart’s teacher, Mrs. Krabappel, on The Simpsons, and as Carol Kester on The Bob Newhart Show. Participants also will enjoy many informal opportunities to mingle, such as at receptions for the annual FAME awards and Leadership in School Nutrition (LISN) awards.
