Welcome to the Student Health web page. Board certified physicians with academic appointments, as well as certified mid-level health care practitioners, diagnose and treat medical and psychiatric conditions of University students. We have expertise in identifying and treating specific conditions unique to young adults. We are in tune to home-sickness and culture shock, learning disabilities, and conditions that are caused by stress and chosen life styles of students. Collectively, we have decades of experience serving this distinctive population. In addition to the medical and mental health clinics, the Student Assistance Program helps students with alcohol or drug problems. Additionally, we have an active outreach program across the campus wherein the mission of the Health Education Program is to provide effective education that will motivate students to maintain or adopt behaviors to improve health, prevent disease, and assist in achieving their academic goals. We are located on the Medical Campus in the Health Sciences building behind Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Please note that current construction at the Health Sciences Campus is impacting our parking. Be sure to review the parking instructions and map on the Location and Maps found within "About Us".
