About the AgNIC Swine Page

The AgNIC Swine Page is Iowa State University's contribution to the Agriculture Network Information Center (AgNIC) project coordinated by the National Agricultural Library, USDA.

Our goal is to provide links to notable World Wide Web resources that deal with the production, marketing, and research aspects of swine and pork.  In addition to listing quality swine sites, we cover related agricultural, marketing, and statistical sites; databases; library and publisher catalogs; and other reference sources.  All of these resources will hopefully make it easier for users to find the information they are seeking.

Your own state's Universities and Extension Services and your state's Department of Agriculture may be the best sources for answering questions pertaining to your geographical area. Individuals outside the U.S. will want to consider agricultural research organizations and universities in their own countries.

If you cannot find what you are looking for at this site or elsewhere, you are welcome to Ask A Question.

We are very much interested in ways to make the AgNIC Swine Page more useful to you.   If you are aware of exceptional swine and related sites not listed here, or would like to see additional categories of resources included, please send us your Suggestions.

Thank you for visiting the AgNIC Swine Page!
