Friday Global Crop Condition Brief
The following series of graphics highlight notable weather and crop developments in key production areas. Featured countries/regions this week are Argentina, the United States and the Northern Plains.
The following three maps compare snow cover levels for the Northern Plains, including North Dakota during February of 1997, 2000, and 2001. Heavy snow pack and current high soil moisture levels could lead to planting difficulties again this spring and the possibility of flooding similar to 1997 and 1999.
