NITC strives to provide a secure and safe environment for clients to access, store and process their mission critical information. The NITC security program is a major supporting function of the overall NITC mission, intended to assure appropriate protection of information resources. NITC supports and conforms to Federal, USDA, and OCIO security policy and practices. NITC develops, implements, and maintains security measures to achieve a logical, structured, and comprehensive security posture and to assure privacy requirements are met in accordance with Federal and Cyber Security mandates.
