Market Focus/ Intended type of Food Service

eTritionWare offers a complete back office solution for inventory control, recipe/menu costing, and food production and purchasing. This includes time saving bar code updates of goods on-hand, received and requisitioned. Our software is modular and manages multiple site (peer-to-peer) or satellite /central operations.

Meal TrackerĀ® Menu Planning software is tightly integrated with inventory control and bid procurement module. This system can be operated peer to peer with monthly consolidation of purchase reports. The program is also suitable for central satellite operations with multiple warehouses. It can be run on stand alone on a PC, through a Client/Server WAN or just a local PC network. With the requisition module you can track storeroom fulfillment with only one central PC or each site can requisition from its own computer. The inventory can be managed manually or by use of bar codes and barcode readers.

Our electronic Bid /Procurement puts all of the responsibility for associating storeroom items to vendor products and for updating prices squarely in the hands of the vendors that want you to buy from them. If they have a computer and know how to enter values into a spreadsheet, then they can participate in your bid process. We also print bid sheets if you want to do all the work yourself.

How do you ensure users receive the latest update of the software?
Regular newsletters are distributed and contact is made to customers to advise them of a newer version. Program updates may be done via the internet.
When the Child Nutrition database is updated, is there a cost to the school district to receive the updated database software?
No. It is provided with the annual license.
Is there a mechanism to look at information retrospectively, e.g. old recipes, menus served in the past, or to retrieve old documents?
The user can keep a backup copy of their data to review. This is highly encouraged, especially before performing any update tasks.
