Project DocumentsLava Rock OHV Trails ProjectDeschutes National ForestBend/Fort Rock Ranger DistrictProject Description/ProposalThe project would designate a motorized trail system as part of the Deschute Nation Forest's strategy for implementing the Forest Services National 2005 Travel Management Rule. The District is developing this proposal for the Lava Rock OHV Project Area to allow for long-term sustainable motor vehicle use on the forest while balancing resource objectives with public and agency needs.
