Recreation Sites Requiring a Pass

Recreation Passes are required on Newberry National Volcanic Monument as well as designated day use sites on the Deschutes National Forest. This year introduces the Interagency pass for use on all federal lands in the United States. The Golden passes will continue to be accepted until expiration of the pass. Forest visitors can use any one of the following seven passes for access to the designated day use recreation fee sites listed below for the Deschutes National Forest.

Passes accepted are:

1. 3-day Monument Pass
2. National Forest Recreation Day Pass
3. Annual Northwest Forest Pass
4. Interagency Annual Pass
5. Interagency Senior Pass
6. Interagency Access Pass
7. Golden Eagle Passport
8. Golden Age Passport
9. Golden Access Passport
10. WA & OR Recreation Pass with Golden Eagle
11. National Park Pass with Golden Eagle hologram
