Current Research:
Identification, monitoring, and assessment of changes in the quantity, quality, productivity, and use of regional forest resources in terms of biological, statistical, economic, and social factors; development of new analytical techniques and adaptation of established procedures to effectively analyze multi-resource inventory data; conduct studies of future timber supply, and conduct special research and customized analyses to address current resource issues.

Identify variables needed to inventory and evaluate forest ecosystems and develop techniques to assess changes in ecosystem function and condition.
