Education Program

College of Menominee Nation teacher education program focuses on preparing teachers to not only increase the diversity of teachers in Wisconsin but to respond to under-served geographic areas (rural reservations) within understaffed content areas such as mathematics and science. The Early Childhood/Elementary Teacher Education Program prepares teachers to know, understand, implement and assess the cultural experience of all children, especially American Indian children as well as preparing children to understand the legacy of caring for their natural surroundings, protecting natural resources and their relationships with others.
