Lessons or Curricula

photo of teacher looking in folderYou may choose to develop or adapt lesson plans or curricula as part of your intervention. If you go with already existing materials, look at them with a critical eye. Do they fit with your strategy? If not, can you modify them? Just because you have an existing curriculum, it doesn't mean that it will meet your needs. Read through it to determine if it asks for a similar behavior change and provides information relating to the benefits you want to promote and the barriers you want to reduce. If it doesn't and you aren't able to modify it, then look for something else to use. Whatever you choose, it is important to pretest with your audience.

Pretesting is covered in more detail later.
