Mission

The Office of Program Management Operations (OPMO) is responsible for communicating to other offices the Assistant Administrator's policies and objectives. OPMO translates these policies and objectives into strategic plans, operating guidance, and resource allocations and projections for the Office of Air and Radiation (OAR). OPMO serves as liaison between the OAR program offices and other Agency offices to provide guidance on Agency planning and budget policies and processes, and coordinates implementation of those policies among the regional offices.OPMO establishes OAR extramural resource management policies and procedures and coordinates management integrity and accountability activities. In addition, OPMO provides objective recommendations and independent advice to the Assistant Administrator and the Deputy Assistant Administrator on resource planning and management issues. OPMO staff also provides program evaluation,information management, administrative support, and other expertise to address a wide range of issues raised by the Administrator, Assistant Administrator, the Congress, other Agency offices, and other federal, state, and local agencies.
