Corps of Engineers to hold public meeting about Lake Oswego dock

PORTLAND, Ore. — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a public information meeting Monday to discuss a permit application from the City of Lake Oswego to replace an existing dock on the Willamette River.

The meeting will be held July 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the City of Lake Oswego 1st Floor Council Chamber, 380 “A” Ave., in Lake Oswego.

Representatives from the Corps, the City of Lake Oswego, Oregon Department of State Lands and the Oregon State Marine Board will present a brief overview of each agency’s responsibilities and the status of the application process. After the overviews, a question and answer session with the representatives will offer the public the chance to provide feedback.
