A gusty northwest wind developing in the wake of a departing storm system will usher in the coldest air of the season. Temperatures will moderate slightly over the weekend, but will still remain well below normal. Another clipper should bring some light snow Saturday afternoon into Sunday, followed by another round of mainly mountain showers Sunday afternoon into early next week.
