A Selection of Combo Stock Arrangements

in the collections of the Music Division, Library of Congress, Washington, DC 20540-4820

This is a list of "stock arrangements" -- published sets of parts -- for jazz "combo" -- small groups, usually of seven or eight instruments. Styles range from Dixieland to bop: the name of the series the stock is from often suggests the style of the stock. The most common "combo" is 3 saxes, trumpet, trombone, piano, drums, and bass.

All of these arrangements are, so far as we know, protected by copyright. Many of them are protected by several. You will need permission from all copyright owners before we can make copies for you. The Copyright Office will search their records to find the current owners of copyright in any particular arrangement for a fee of $20.00 an hour (as of August 1992).
