Description: AJOL is a database of African-published journals, publishing in a range of academic disciplines. AJOL provides Tables of Contents (TOCs) and abstracts for over 175 journals from 21 African countries, including some Francophone journals, and many with French abstracts.

The objective of AJOL is to provide a window to the research published within the continent, and give greater visibility to the participating journals, and to the research they convey. All the material on AJOL is free to view, search and browse. Full text documents can be ordered (in print or by email).
