TESTIMONIALS
When I first conceived of a class
on ecology and culture that would feature a week-long kayaking trip to the
South Carolina Low Country, I discovered Nature Adventures Outfitters, and I am
so very lucky that I did. Kathie Livingston has been a
tremendous resource and partner for the five years
I have been offering my class. She has been invaluable in helping
me plan experiences that students love and learn from, and she goes out of her
way to help me and the students, both while we are planning each year's course
and when we visit South Carolina each May. She reassures students who are
ill, she is flexible enough to allow me to change my plans as contingencies
arise, she has arranged catered meals for the classes, ferried gear to Capers
Island, helped me find and secure camp sites, and is always there on the other
end of the cell phone when I have a problem or a question. She has also
introduced my classes to wonderfully knowledgeable and skilled guides, who
entertain, teach, and embody the Low Country to many of my students.
She and her guides are great
teachers, and my students and I have learned so much about the swamps, marshes,
and beaches of the Low Country from them. Nature Adventures Outfitters
and Kathie are Low Country treasures, and I know my association with them is at
the heart of the success of my course. --Robert E.
Burkholder, Associate Professor of
English, Penn State, University Park,
PA May, 2008

****The four of us
thoroughly enjoyed our kayaking adventure.
I'm not sure what I liked most, the Wambaw swamp, or the Sewee Indian Ruins,
both were terrific. We can't say
enough about Bob who guided us both days. He was very
knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor and was concerned about our safety, and
wanted to make sure we had a good time, which we did. Don't lose
him!
Jack & Marge, Joe & Michelle,

***It all went fabulously
well. Bob is wonderful leader and great with
children. He
tactfully took special care to help one of our more difficult little girls with
attitude adjustment. Because of his attitude and input, she did enjoy the
adventure. We love Bob……Scout Troop, 2007

****"South Carolinas Hidden Natural Treasures are revealed and
interpreted with a mix of expertise, passion,
sensitivity and care by Kathie Livingston at Nature Adventures

were demystified in a memorable and fun experience!" 2005

****"I wanted to tell you upfront that I'm
usually not the most complementary person. Having said that, more than 24 hours
since I received your last two emails, your customer service is still amazing to me.
Your
customer service is real, it's genuine and it's helpful. I know I told you this
yesterday, but I can't let it go. I have to tell you again. You have given
better and more helpful customer service than every other kayak place combined
that I've ever contacted in NC or SC. I know thank you isn't enough, but I
can't think of anything else better to say, but thank you again!" Glenn
Benfield, March, 2004

****"Nature Adventures was
terrific! They
were helpful, organized, and friendly. The trip they helped us plan was a
highlight of our extended families' holiday week vacation in South Carolina."
2004 David Luberoff- Lexington, MA

****"Hi Kathie, I just wanted to thank you
for such a great course yesterday. Being a safety
manager and having taught classes, I tend to be critical of
instructors...and you were great!
Very professional, knowledgeable, and genuine. I had a blast and can't wait to
take another class!" 2006 Julia Olson
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"****Dear Nature Adventures,
Margi and I are going to come back next March and do another kayaking trip with
you. First time ever, we have decided to go back to the same area. That
speaks very highly of you and the time we had kayaking with you on
the Wambaw, as well as the Village B&B & Cherie as hostess. It was a
real pleasure for the two of us to make your acquaintance and tap into your
vast knowledge of the outdoor world around us." Ruth A
Rogers 2003
