Countdown to polio eradication in Nigeria
A whole range of activities have been or are being implemented to tackle the current polio outbreak in Nigeria and to finally eradicate the disease. This fortnightly e-newsletter is being produced to provide access to concise information about recent activities undertaken in the fight against polio, upcoming events and the statistics of Wild Polio Virus count in Nigeria.

WHO Country Office Nigeria Annual Report
The year 2007 was another successful one for the health sector in general and for the work of WHO with Government and partners in improving the health of Nigerians. The 51st National Council of Health, held in November 2007 was rightly christened ‘Creating wealth through health’ and Government and partners continue to make efforts to actualize this slogan within the year. This report chronicles some of the efforts and achievements of WHO in supporting the country in 2007 in this regard.
