Reach Description

At lower flows, the water-surface profile is controlled by a cobble-boulder riffle 250 ft downstream from the gage, and is increasingly controlled by the channel geometry at higher flows. The channel bottom is principally sand and gravel with some cobble and boulders. (Dinehart,1987)
