Our New Design

We have updated our page design to reflect changes made to the NIH's web brand. The NIH Office of Communications and Public Liaison redesigned the NIH's web brand as a result of responses from site visitors to the American Customer Satisfaction Index survey. Visitors made suggestions that helped inform us about needed changes to the site's look and feel. The NIH Office of Communications and Public Liaison created a prototype from those suggestions and then followed-up with further studies to find out how the new design performed to meet the needs of the many visitors to the NIH's various web sites.

1. The navigation has been condensed to aid in your job search tasks. Maximize Your Job Search contains information on the Federal Hiring and the application process for jobs at NIH.
2. Life @ NIH covers the benefits and programs available to NIH employees.
3. The Scientific, Research, & Clinical Jobs, Administrative Jobs, and Student Jobs sections break down the specifics of the hiring and application process for these three different job categories.
4. We have begun to compile a listing of the descriptions and qualifications for the different positions at NIH. The Job Descriptions section provides an alphabetical listing of these positions.
5. The slideshow area provides an opportunity to spotlight special job openings and programs for internships of employment at the NIH.
6. The center area contains another way to navigate to the information on hiring and applying for the different categories of employment at NIH.
7. The Search NIH Jobs box provides direct links to vacancy openings on USAJobs in several broad job categories.
