Morgan-Case Homestead Cabin

Due to the high demand for this facility, the Missoula Ranger District has initiated a lottery system for reserving the Morgan-Case Homestead cabin.

01/05/09 - The spring/summer Lottery application is now available. Print, complete the application, and mail.
Application entries must be postmarked no later than March 2, 2009.
Successful applicants will be notified no later than March 2, 2009. Please call (406) 329-3814 if you have any questions.

Location

Thirty miles of the I-90 Rock Creek Road exit #126 or 48 miles southwest of the I-90 Drummond exit #153. Access via the Drummond exit is regularly plowed within one mile of the cabin, four wheel drive and chains, as well as skis, snowshoes or snow machines are recommended for full winter access.

Amenities

Single-story, two bedrooms, fully furnished, water handpump, electric cooking stove, electric lighting, electric baseboard heat, and refrigerator. Bring your own bedding/linens. The homestead is wheelchair accessible. No pets.

Capacity

Five person maximum occupancy. Six nights maximum stay per party. No pets.

$65.00 per night

Reservations

The Missoula Ranger District manages reservations for the Morgan-Case Homestead using the lottery system mentioned above. This cabin rental is not on the National Recreation Reservations System (NRRS).
