NRCS Features New Energy Exhibit at Agricultural Outlook Forum

Last week, more than 1,800 USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum attendees — a record attendance — got a chance to get some hands-on experience with the Web Soil Survey, NRCS’s on-line delivery system for soil survey data.  Attendees at the event held in Arlington, Virginia, also got an opportunity to use the new on-line energy estimator tools and listen to NRCS Chief Arlen Lancaster moderate a session, U.S. Farm Bill: USDA Perspective that featured several USDA Under Secretaries.

Since its beginning in 1923, USDA’s annual Outlook Forum has provided producers, policymakers, business leaders, and government and industry analysts with the opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and discuss timely issues at the forefront of America’s agriculture.
