NRCS staff from Fort Collins, Colorado; National Headquarters; and the Florida NRCS State and Palmetto Area 3 offices recently participated at the 2007 Commodity Classic in Tampa, Florida.  Exhibits, continuous loop DVDs, and computer stations with large screen monitors were used by the participants to familiarize show-goers with web-based tools and technology like the Web Soil Survey; Energy Estimator – Nitrogen,  Tillage, Irrigation, and Animal Housing; the USDA Customer Statement; and the Electronic Field Office Technical Guide.  Farm media were on hand to conduct interviews with NRCS headquarters and technical staff.
