The Congressional Steel Caucus
The Congressional Steel Caucus is a bipartisan group of House members who represent
districts with steel manufacturers. Through legislation, roundtable discussions
and hearings, the caucus focuses on the needs of the steel industry and what
it takes to level the playing field for employers and preserve American jobs.
U.S. Rep. Pete Visclosky is
the chairman of the caucus while U.S.
Rep. Phil English is the vice-chairman. The caucus is made up of over 100
members from both sides of the aisle. It is further broken down into a 14-member
