Past Experience:

Gulf Coast Recovery Project, Jackson, MS. Treated paper and books damaged by Hurricane Katrina, designed and updated the project website, assisted teaching workshops on preservation throughout Mississippi, helped conduct preservation site visits for Mississippi public libraries and wrote follow-up reports. (2006)

The Nettie Lee Benson Latin American Collection, Austin, TX. Student technician for the Rare Books and Archives Department. Experience gained in outfitting a new lab, pamphlet preservation, box-making, and work-flow database management. (2005)

Smithsonian Institution, National Museum of the American Indian, Suitland, MD. Condition surveys and treatment of works of art on paper. Custom-made housings for fragile materials. (2005)

Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, Austin, TX. Conservation treatment of art on paper and manuscripts. Surveys and treatments of photographic albums from the collections. (2004)

Ennistuskoda Kanut, Tallinn, Estonia. Conservation treatment of museum objects of leather, metal and shell at Estonian's national conservation firm. Box-making and bookbinding structures under the guidance of museum conservators. (2003)

Emergency treatment of water damaged paper scrolls from National Taiwan Museum
