Connecting Students and Alumni with Employers for Success

Network at a career fair! Dont miss any of the seven career fairs held each year. Career fairs are a chance for current UK students to seek internships and co-ops and for UK seniors and alumni to find full time opportunities. All majors are encouraged to come to all career fairs to explore options! Networking at a career fair has resulted in many successful hires.Schedule a one-on-one appointment! Career counselors are available to provide individualized advice regarding career exploration from choosing a major to identifying career paths within a major. If you are seeking an internship or a job, meet with your career counselor to polish your resume and cover letter as well as perfect your interviewing skills. Career counselors also assist employers in reaching out to specific colleges. Call 859-257-2746 to schedule an appointment now!Internships Lead to Jobs. Get career related experience with an internship. Students that have proved their skills in an internship get hired for full time jobs upon graduation. Internships make your resume stronger and let you develop skills which you can use in all job settings. Attend an internship information session to find out more.Attend Workshops. Each semester brings a new schedule of job search workshops and many are taught by employers. Learn how to write resumes, enhance your interview skills, or get a job with a pharmaceutical company by listening to and talking with employers in your field.
