The National Institute of General Medical Sciences gives notice of a one-cycle extension of the expiration dates for the following Bridges to the Future Program Announcements.

(PAR-02-083) “Initiative for Minority Students: Bridges to the Doctorate Program (R25)”, published May 21, 2002 (http://www.nigms.nih.gov/Research/Mechanisms/BridgesDoctoral.htm)

(PAR-02-084) “Initiative for Minority Students: Bridges to the Baccalaureate Program (R25)”, published May 21, 2002 (http://www.nigms.nih.gov/Research/Mechanisms/BridgesBaccalaureate.htm)

These announcements will remain active until May 21, 2006.  Use the revised (9/2004) PHS 398 application form to submit for either of these programs. The revised version of the PHS  398 form and instructions are available at: http://grants.nih.gov/grants/forms.htm.
