Mt. Cuba Center
Former estate of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lammot du Pont Copeland, now a non-profit organization promoting an appreciation for plants native to the Piedmont. Renowned for spectacular spring and fall wildflower displays. Guided tours, reservations required, limited access.
Bethany Beach
Take a walk on the mile-long boardwalk or watch the sunset over the bay. Enjoy a stroll in the sand, or visit historic points such as the Fenwick Lighthouse. Fish, sail, bike, or just relax on the beach. Located within three hours of metropolitan areas.
Delaware International Speedway
Stock car racing heats up with modifieds, late models, street modifieds and modified light cars.
Kalmar Nyckel, The Tall Ship of Delaware
Re-creation of the Dutch-built, Swedish-flagged ship that brought the first permanent European settlers to Delaware Valley. The ship spends July sailing out of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry Terminal and visits various other ports along the East Coast. The ship is available for public tours, sailing events, receptions and charter sails.
Killens Pond Water Park
Delaware State Parks' only waterslide park, offering a ton of fun for kids of all ages, with two 27-foot-high spiraling slides, interactive water features and a tot lot and baby pool with bubblers and frog slides. Available for group rentals.
