Neil Young Joins Sun at 2008 JavaOne Conference Speaking about his upcoming interactive archive, releasing on Blu-ray Disc.

Neil Young was "rockin' in the free world" when he joined Sun CEO and president, Jonathan Schwartz and Rich Green, executive vice president for Software, on stage for the keynote address at the JavaOne conference to talk about his upcoming Archive Release on Blu-ray Disc™ powered by Java technology. Young announced that his long time dream of creating a chronology of songs, released and unreleased, that fans can listen to in unsurpassed 192/24 audio quality while navigating through a truly interactive collection of movies, videos, memorabilia, photographs, letters and more is being realized this year because of the advances in Blu-ray Disc and Java technologies. Neil Young, Blu-ray Disc and Java are introducing a new genre of content and creating a more immersive experience for fans around the world.
