A powerful storm will cross Eastern Idaho today, which will produce very strong
winds. A high wind warning is in effect for the Snake River Plain, with winds
expected to reach sustained speeds of 40 to 45 mph. Gusts over 50 mph are
likely. A wind advisory is in effect for all mountain areas in Eastern Idaho,
with winds expected to reach sustained speeds of 25 to 40 mph. Gusts to 50 mph
are possible.
