Compendium Fact Sheets
CSREES staff helped write an Animal
Welfare Issues Compendium, resulting
from a partnership with animal activists,
industry, academia, and government. The
compendium's 14 fact sheets objectively
describe animal well-being issues confronting
society. The information was reviewed by
industry, activist group representatives,
and academic subject matter experts. The
document was distributed throughout the
Land-Grant University System.
