Tuberculosis: Funding

USAID strongly supports tuberculosis prevention activities through a variety of programs in many countries. Since 1998, USAID has provided more than $408 million to developing countries to fight tuberculosis. In FY 2005, USAID will spend approximately $93 million on international TB efforts, making it the largest donor in this program area.
