Radio broadcast is one method used by the NWS and other public and private agencies for disseminating the EMWIN datastream.
Most EMWIN VHF broadcasts are (and will be) the result of cooperative efforts by other public and private agencies. There are several NWS frequencies available for use, but rebroadcasters may also obtain frequencies from other agencies/organizations, such as the National Guard. For the NWS frequencies only, a cooperators agreement and license documents are available here. All other agencies/organizations will have there own licensing requirements and agreements.
