Here on the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests, we have recreation passes that provide benefits for our local customers who frequently visit the forest as well as for people who visit us from other parts of the country while traveling or on vacation. All the passes we offer can be obtained at any of our local offices. Please feel free to call for further information.

Our two local passes are the Forest Annual Pass and the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Pass. Here's a brief overview.

[Image] 2008 Forest Annual PassThe Forest Annual Pass provides the holder access to many of our recreation areas for a one-time annual fee. This is most advantagious for people who visit the forest often. Get the rest of the details including pricing and benefits.

[Image] 2008 OHV PassThe OHV Annaul Pass is a great way to take advantage of the best and biggest system of off-road trails in the state. One annual fee gets the holder of this pass access to seven trail systems that provide 84 miles of trails. See the OVH Annual Pass page for the rest of the information about this pass.

Golden Passport and America The Beautiful Interagency Annual Pass Information for 2008

America the Beautiful, the National Parks and Federal Lands Annual Pass (a.k.a. the Interagency Annual Pass)

This $80 annual pass is honored nationwide at all Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Bureau of Reclamation (BOR), U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers sites charging entrance or standard amenity fees.The only standard amenity fees where the pass can be used on the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests are the fees for Brasstown Bald Visitor Information Center and Anna Ruby Falls Visitor Information Center .

Concessionaire sites do not honor the Interagency Annual Pass. At per vehicle fee areas, the pass admits the pass holder(s) and accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle. At per-person sites, the pass admits passholder(s) and up to three accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle. The U.S. Forest Service does not charge an entrance fee at any sites on the Chattahoochee-Oconee Forest .

Find everything you need to know about the "The America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass" program as well as recreation permits.

These passports are available for a one-time lifetime cost of $10 with proof of age 62 or older. If they are lost they must be purchased again as they are non-replaceable. They are honored nationwide at all Forest Service, National Park Service, BLM, BOR, Corps of Engineers, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and US Fish & Wildlife Service sites charging entrance or standard amenity fees UNLESS the area is under concessionaire permit. At per vehicle fee areas, these passes admit the pass holder and accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle. At per-person sites, the passes admit the passholder and up to three accompanying passengers in a private non-commercial vehicle. Golden Age Passport and Interagency Senior Pass holders also receive a 50% discount at campgrounds, highly developed boat launches, swimming sites and for specialized interpretive services.

These passports are free and admit the holder to the same services as the Golden Age Passport and the Interagency Senior Passport. However, the following strict eligibility requirements must be met. You must
