Nutrient Utilization Research
Animal nutrition and nutrient use research involves basic research and applied work to improve production efficiency of agricultural animals and minimize their impact on the environment by maximizing efficient use of nutrients in animal feeds. CSREES supports work on the nutrient utilization of food-producing animals and supports the efforts of the land-grant partnership in developing applications to improve nutrition of livestock.
