Endocrinology of Growth
Endocrinology of growth research involves the study of the physiological and molecular mechanisms by which the secretion of hormones and growth factors regulate musculoskeletal growth, lactation, and nutrient use in animals used to produce food and fiber. CSREES funds work on endocrinology of growth in food animals and supports the efforts of the land-grant partnership in developing practical applications resulting from this work.
