What is the Yahoo! Toolbar?

The Yahoo! Toolbar is a downloadable toolbar, that allows easy search mechanism from within browser without visiting the Yahoo! website.


The Yahoo! Toolbar is integrated with Java download. During the installation of Java, users are also presented with an option of downloading the Yahoo! Toolbar.




Users can remove the check in the checkbox, if they do not wish to download the Yahoo! Toolbar.

When user installs the Yahoo! Toolbar, it adds a whole set of new functions and features to their web browser, such as :
Built in web search, that allows you to search the web quickly.
Personalized buttons, that get you to your most used sites in just 1 click.
Bookmarks, that gets you to your favorites sites quickly.
Mail Alerts, lets you know when you get new mail.
Yahoo messenger integration, lets you quickly IM your friends.
